Our client in Adelaide seeks the services of DSS L3 Shipyard Facilities Assurance Officer with NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 23 months
Closing Date: 2nd July 2025
Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities- related contracts, including, security, landscaping, waste management, maintenance, and projects. Develop, negotiate, and enforce contracts.
Facility Assurance Implementation Plan.
Monthly Facility Dashboard and Audit Reports protocols.
Operational Governance Establish and maintain assurance frameworks, issue registers, audit trails, and escalation pathways to support integrated operations.
Drafting of facility assurance plans and governance docs.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the DCE facilities budget, ensuring accurate cost estimation, tracking, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Facility Readiness Lead assurance of shipyard infrastructure (laydown, workshops, services, security zones), including oversight of design intent, handover, and commissioning).
Decommissioning plan for assets and capex post ship one.
Essential:
Proven experience managing facilities assurance, infrastructure compliance programs within Defence, shipbuilding, or secure industrial precincts.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional site teams in complex, high- risk environments.
Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills, particularly in a Defence acquisition or sustainment context.
