Strategic Executive Solutions an ArisZinc Group company seeks the services of DevSecOps Lead with NV1 security clearance for our client in Canberra.
 
Deliverables:
1. The contractor will be engaged on a time and materials basis. Notwithstanding, the following activities and deliverables are envisaged during the term of this engagement:
2. Contribute to the underway innovation project via scripting, automation and orchestration tasks to enable system build sequence automation using a combination of the following technologies:
a. Powershell, Ansible and associated scripting languages/technologies
b. DevSecOps toolsets and methodologies including:

• GitLab
• Ansible
• Terraform
• Vault
• Secret Server
• Container Workloads/Kubernetes

c. Microsoft, Linux Operating Systems and enterprise applications
d. VMware suite of datacentre products
e. Experience managing DevSecOps and IT Systems within internet disconnected environments is highly desirable
3. Contribute to the design, implementation and direction of the LNIC DevSecOps overall design patterns for the LNIC datacentres, offline (no internet) pattern usage, and how said patterns can be incorporated and employed into smaller Deployable LAN (D-LAN) suites.
4. Develop documentation to describe the design, configuration and implementation of build automation tools and associated system components.
5. Provide other services as tasked by client
  
Qualifications and Experience:
1. It is a REQUIREMENT that the Key Person has Experience with the following
a. Deployment and Management of Windows & Linux Operating Systems
b. Virtualisation Technologies such as VMWare vSphere & vCenter
c. Enterprise Database solutions such as SQL
d. Automation & Orchestration toolsets including:

• Ansible
• Powershell/PowerCLI
• GitLab, including the development of build pipelines
• Working with internet disconnected environments

2. It is a REQUIREMENT that the Key Person is primarily based in Canberra.
3. It is a HIGHLY DESIRABLE that the Key Person has extensive (greater than ten years) relevant experience in within secure ICT systems in the Defence domain.
4. It is a DESIRABLE that the Key Person has the following qualification and/or experience:
a. experience with the following defence specific concepts or systems:

• JP 2221-1 AUS MPE Network, EDLAN or commensurate deployed network.
• Network integration at the tactical and operational levels within the ADF, including interfaces to strategic network boundaries
