Our client in Melbourne, VIC seeks the services of DSS L3 Project Manager - Integration with NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 12 months

Responsibilities:
Represent the team to enable transition of finalised engineering designs to platform owners and original equipment manufacturers.
Work with the Engineering and Integrated Logistics Management (ILS) teams to ensure that all project-related documentation and requirements are delivered in line with extant standards, agreements and timeframes.
Participate in the planning and conduct of test activities and contribute to the test plan, planning conferences, risk management, lessons learned activities and progress reports.
Participate and share integration expertise to contribute to planning for future work take-on, particularly in relation to resourcing, technical aspects, schedule development and risk.
Support systems engineers with maintaining engineering authority and baseline of the systems as part of the authorised engineering
Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience, and current and relevant project management experience within Defence or a military environment.
Experience in the delivery of Defence projects
Experience in logistically complex projects in the Defence environment
Highly Desirable Experience and / or Qualifications:
Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements.
Already have or ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and Experience working with Defence Prime contractors on deliverables-based
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant degree qualification in electrical or electronic
A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry
Highly Desirable Attributes:
Prior experience in the Defence
Proficiency in designing cutting-edge hardware modules, especially in:
Small form factor design
Low noise
Narrow and wide bandwidth
High linearity
Demonstrated leadership in process management, including experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
