Experience:

• Ability to provide specialist advice to requirements definition and then planning, monitoring and controlling of programs/products across the life cycle of a capability.
• Ability to solve complex problems and manage issues to support the delivery of capability, including understanding of the technical, operational and logistical requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate highly effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to build appropriate and effective business relationships.
• Evaluate and ensure that the capability sustainment meets requirements, and is in line with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks; and
• Ability to analyse, develop and implement work plans to support delivery of outcomes, understand critical success factors and recommend changes. 

Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
• Current and relevant project management experience within Defence or a military environment.
• Experience in the delivery of Defence projects.
• Experience in logistically complex projects in the Defence environment.

Highly Desirable Experience and / or Qualifications:

• Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements.
• Experience or qualifications in Agile project management.
• An engineering qualification or experience working in an engineering environment.
• Experience working with Defence Prime contractors on deliverables-based contracts.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant degree qualification in electrical or electronic engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.

Highly Desirable Attributes:

• Prior experience in the Defence sector.
• Extensive experience in electrical/power engineering and specialist RF environments.
• Experience operating in congested RF or electronic warfare domains.
• Demonstrated leadership in process management, including experience with continuous improvement methodologies
