Our client in Melbourne, VIC seeks the services of DSS L3 Systems Engineer with NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract - 11 months

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system and software requirements are met.
Develop and maintain both manual and automated test cases, scripts, and frameworks to validate software functionality, performance and security.
Analyse test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development team to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Plan, prepare, and execute test of systems, evaluating results against specifications and requirements.
Record and manage test data, ensuring traceability and compliance with standards and requirements.
Create auditable evidence of security measures and determine the level of assurance of developed capabilities based on test results.
Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:
Bachelors (or Masters) in IT or Software Engineering or
Strong technical abilities and comfort working with various software programs, databases and operating systems.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to test
Experience with test automation tools and
Solid understanding of software development
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to document procedures, report defects, and present findings.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to fast paced environments with tights deadlines.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira).
Additional Criteria: DSS - 2.4 Systems and Software Engineering - Testing and Evaluation (including verification and validation) - L3 SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L4
