Our client in Canberra seeks the services of DSS L3 SATCOM SPO ICT Cyber Security Lead with NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 11 months
Closing Date: 16 July 2025
Responsibilities:
The Contractor will be responsible for authoring and updating a suite of engineering and technical documents and engaging with stakeholders to attain endorsement and/or approval of project documentation. Deliverables may include:
Security Risk Assessments
Certification and Accreditation artefacts
Verification and Validation documentation
Security compliance reports
Technical input to system design and integration documents
Review and update security-related projects
Review and provide feedback on security-related contracts
Assess security control implementation and design proposed by
Conduct security risk analysis
Participate in project meetings and contribute to security-related working
Undertake other cybersecurity engineering activities as directed by the Engineering Manager.
Essential Experience and / or Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity engineering and risk assessment
Experience with Defence security requirements and accreditation processes.
Experience developing artefacts for Security Certification and Accreditation
Desirable Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with space systems, satellite communications, or space domain awareness technologies.
Knowledge of international cybersecurity standards and
Experience working with industry and international
