Develop and maintain cost estimates that are consistent, clear and transparent, using the appropriate methodologies and that are repeatable.
Education and support of stakeholders on issues relating to cost, planning and forecast estimation, with a focus on In-Year and Program view.
Conduct peer review of cost estimations and other costing artefacts as required.
Guidance and training to new staff in cost planning and forecast estimation tools and methodologies, including mentoring and transfer of knowledge.
Obtain and record relevant documents in support of the cost planning and forecast; i.e. evidence.
Develop partnerships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure cost estimates are sufficiently informed, robust, can be refined when required, are aligned to all project documentation and can support finance matters in a broader sense.
