Our client in Melbourne seeks the services of DSS L2 Scheduler with minimum NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 11 months
Closing date: 25th June 2025
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance project schedules to support project objectives.
Provide project governance support and participate in key project workshops.
Support broader Project Controls activities as required.
Monitor, advise and assist project management personnel in relation to the use of current industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.
Manage individual schedules to ensure effective completion of all scheduled task and activities and work with the Scheduler to incorporate changes to the master schedule where required.
Qualification and Experience:
More than 3 years’ experience scheduling in the Defence environment.
Scheduling and project management experience.
Experience in the delivery of Defence projects.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
A recognised schedule management professional qualification.
Higher education sector accreditation at minimum advanced diploma level.
Highly Desirable Qualification and Experience:
Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
Plans, schedules, and monitors work to meet time and quality targets.
Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes some responsibility for driving own development.
Previous Defence experience is highly desirable.
Extensive industry and specialty experience in systems/software engineering.
