Our client in Canberra seeks the services of DSS L3 Systems Engineer with minimum NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 11 months
Closing date: 25th June 2025
Responsibilities:
The conduct of tender evaluations as a member of a Tender Evaluation Working Group.
Authoring, reviewing and providing input to update engineering documents.
Supporting development of documents in preparation of Government submissions.
Reviewing and progressing engineering changes within the CASG change management tools.
Engaging with stakeholders; organising, holding, and presenting workshops with capability stakeholder representatives to understand stakeholder, user and system requirements.
Engaging with stakeholders; investigating systems engineering concepts, and supporting development of systems specifications and engineering plans in support of the Defence materiel capability lifecycle; and
Organising and assisting with Test and Evaluation and Technical Certification activities.
Qualification and Experience:
A qualified engineering practitioner with higher degree qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 5 years.
Comprehensive understanding in the engineering of complex Defence systems.
Highly Desirable Qualification and Experience:
Previous experience working with C4 systems or capabilities.
Extensive industry and specialty experience in Systems Engineering (Communications).
Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/computers/communications/networking or similar) or an equivalent qualification that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a professional engineer.
