Enterprise Architect (Contract) - Architecture Assessment & Principles Uplift

Short-term contract | Immediate start | Extension possible

We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a high-performing architecture function on a short-term contract, supporting a critical piece of work focused on assessing current-state architecture and uplifting enterprise-wide architecture principles and standards.

This role will suit someone who can quickly analyse complex environments, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and help shape a clear set of practical principles that drive better architecture decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess current enterprise and solution architecture across key domains
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps and key risks across the architecture landscape
• Uplift and refine architecture principles, standards and governance artefacts
• Work with senior stakeholders to ensure principles are adopted and practical
• Provide clear recommendations and roadmap for architecture improvement

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations
• Strong background in architecture assessment, target-state thinking and roadmapping
• Experience uplifting architecture principles, standards, and governance
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technology and business teams
• Ability to deliver outcomes quickly in a contract environment
