Agentic AI Engineer – 12 Month Day Rate Contract - $1100 - 1200 PD Inc Super

We are currently partnering exclusively with a well-known enterprise organisation in Sydney that is investing very heavily in emerging AI capability.
They’re looking to engage an experienced Agentic AI Engineer on an initial 12-month day rate contract, with strong potential for extension (This is a multi year programme of work).
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and building agent-based AI solutions that automate real business workflows, not just chatbots. You’ll be working across Azure platforms to develop orchestration logic, multi-agent systems, decision flows, and human-in-the-loop processes, integrating with core enterprise systems.
We’re looking for someone with solid software engineering fundamentals and practical experience building AI-enabled applications in a Microsoft environment. Strong experience with Azure AI services, Azure Functions, APIs/integration patterns, and workflow automation is key. Experience in complex enterprise environments where security, governance, and scalability matter will be highly regarded.
