They are now hiring a Buying Manager to take charge of key categories, coach a high-performing team and stay close to the trade. This is a true player-coach role. You will be negotiating, trading and spotting the next big thing while building capability across a team that shapes the product customers cannot wait to wear.



YOU WILL LOVE

• Leading the end-to-end buying cycle across your categories
• Building ranges that balance trend, customer need and commercial targets including sales, margin, hit rate and returns
• Creating scalable frameworks for repeats, range planning and markdowns
• Taking fast and decisive action on underperformers and doubling down on winners
• Partnering with Planning, Creative, Marketing and Production to deliver smooth launches, campaigns and product stories
• Equipping CX and Retail with the knowledge they need to sell product confidently
• Presenting category performance and trend insights in trade forums and post-mortems
• Driving category growth by spotting capsules, new occasions and market gaps
• Feeding customer signals such as returns, reviews and CX insights back into better ranges
• Leading or contributing to two to three strategic projects per quarter to improve performance or scale ways of working

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and coach Buyers and a Designer with dotted-line support to a BAA
• Build capability in trend forecasting, margin ownership and commercial execution
• Support each team member’s growth toward greater ownership and future leadership roles
• Step in as a player-coach to model high-performance trade execution
• Role model BB values, strategic thinking and commercially led decision-making

YOU WILL BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE IF YOU

• Have five or more years of fashion buying experience, with time spent mentoring or managing others
• Are equally excited by a strong TikTok trend and a strong sell-through curve
• Thrive in weekly trade, making fast and confident calls
• Know how to balance aesthetic vision with commercial performance
• Are comfortable working cross-functionally in a business that moves at speed
• Get energy from coaching and building others, not just owning your own wins
