Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a school, who are looking for a Caretaker to join their team based in Cambridgeshire. 

Position: Caretaker          
Rate: £17,286 - £18,425   
Location: Cambridgeshire               
Work Type: Permanent (20 hours per week) 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Checking all school facilities are in order, replacing consumables (such as light fittings or toilet roll holders) and reporting anything more serious. 
• Securing school site. 
• Constantly checking health and safety risks around the school, ensuring the safety of pupils and staff is maintained. 
• Take school deliveries and move furniture or other equipment when required. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Able to perform physical tasks. 
• Knowledge of moving and handling procedures as well as health and safety regulations. 
• Previous caretaking or handyperson experience in an educational environment (desired but not essential).
