The day to day
ALS Environmental at Wangara is seeking a Client Services Officer to join our successful Client Services team.
This is a full-time position. You will work closely with our clients, providing quality service through technical and analytical advice and facilitating project delivery through effective communication and project management.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with existing and new stakeholders, including face-to-face meetings
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts, including monitoring/tracking client developments and assisting with project management
- Identifying Industry needs and opportunities
- Writing Proposals and Quotations
- Assist in marketing ALS services and capabilities to Industry and attend Industry events
- Preparing invoices for clients and taking invoicing queries
- Lodging invoices into online procurement portals
- Facilitating the resolution of client queries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitoring certain shared mailboxes
- Maintaining data entry for several shared tracking spreadsheets
- Assisting with logistics and logistical queries
- General reception and office duties
- Receiving and directing incoming phone calls

- Strong proficiency in the use of and ability to learn new computer applications, e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience in Environmental Laboratories (desirable)
- Bachelor of Science (Microbiology/Chemistry/Environmental or equivalent) (desirable but not essential)
