We’re looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and analyzing dust, filter, particle sizing, and microbiological samples while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You’ll liaise with clients, identify anomalies, and contribute to a high-performing lab environment. Ideal candidates will have laboratory qualifications, a keen eye for data accuracy, and a collaborative mindset. Experience with NATA requirements is a plus! The day to day
- Preparation and analysis of dusts and filter samples
- Preparation and analysis of particle sizing samples
- Preparation and analysis of microbiological samples
- Organising designated tasks for efficiency
- Highlighting anomalies in results and sample type and sample behaviour
- Coordinating, communicating and liaising with clients (internal and external)
- Shifts will be Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday, Wednesday shifts will be 11:15am to 7:30pm. Thursday and Friday will be 10:15 to 6.30pm. Saturday will be day shift.
The Essentials: - Tertiary qualifications or Certificate in Laboratory techniques
- Experience with and understanding of NATA requirements desirable
- Previous laboratory experience desirable
- Diligent in dealing with data and details and intermediate knowledge of MS applications
- Customer focussed and a collaborative team player
- Flexibility to meet our changing business needs
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing and changing priorities
