Installation Mechanic Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Installation Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will primarily work on servicing and installing commercial and residential lift systems. Our ideal Installation Mechanic candidate has a strong background in mechanical and electrical work. More details are below! 

Shift/Pay for Installation Mechanic:

• M-F 7am-4pm (NO nights/holidays)
• Travel is required, and the candidate needs to have a flexible schedule. All travel is around the St. Louis area within 2-3 hours
• A few overnights a month, must be able to travel 10-25% of the time (some months there is no overnight travel)
• All travel is paid for + additional per diem
• Pay: $25-30/hr (depending on experience)

Installation Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients to install systems on-site
• Respond to repair calls
• Read blueprints to determine how to best install the components and wiring
• Test all systems and troubleshoot any issues
• Teach the client how to use the system

Installation Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Electrician experience AND mechanical experience
• Electrical schematics reading skills
• Strong communication skills
• Mechanical skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
