Our established client has an immediate need for a full-time Injection Molding Mechanic. The injection molding mechanic will be responsible for a variety of maintenance work on heating systems, electrical systems, machines, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other facilities, as required. This position pays $25 -$34 per hour.

Injection Molding Mechanic Shift:
3rd shift 
Rotating night shift
6:30pm-7am

Injection Molding Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Ensures machinery and mechanical equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitors compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Injection Molding Mechanic Qualifications: 

• Must have previous experience working on injection or blow molding machines
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose all electrical problems
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• High School Diploma or GED, with above-average mechanical ability

Injection Molding Mechanic Pay:
-$25-34/hr, depending on experience
-$1.50/hr shift differential
