Job Title - Production Operative
    
Location of work - Mold
    
Responsible to - Production Manager
    
Purpose of the role - To support the production facility in the production of our client’s product. Operating line equipment and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards at all times.     
    

 
KEY INFORMATION
    
Reason for vacancy - Continued growth
    
Contract - Temp to Perm
    
Basic pay - £11.00ph rising to £12.30ph when trained
    
Overtime - Regular overtime available paid at £14.66ph - £16.40ph Mon-Fri,  (dep on training stage) £16.50ph-£18,45ph Saturdays (dep on training stage) and £22.00ph - £24.60ph Sundays (dep on training stage)
    
Shifts - Monday – Friday, 7am-4.30pm (March to August) AND Monday to Friday 4 out of 5 days 7am-7pm Days and Nights Rotation (late August to early March) – Nights are paid at a higher rate again!
    
Holidays - Accrual whilst agency and 21 days + Bank Holidays when permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES
    
The role - Our client is looking for Production Operatives to join their existing team on temp to perm contracts at their HQ site in Mold. Full training on sites production / process requirements is provided and rates of pay rise during and when trained. No shift cancellations at all with this employer. The responsibilities of this position are varied but not limited to -

• Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of lines.
• Being aware of the production plan for each shift, check all aspects of the line before starting up, plan and manage changeovers on the line.
• Ensuring the line is ready to hand over and ensure all issues are communicated.
• Ensuring that all quality checks are accurately completed by operators.
• Assisting in root cause analysis work.
• Maintaining a safe working environment.
• Conducting periodic checks on output efficiencies.
• Carrying out routine maintenance.
