Job Title: Electrical Principal / Associate Engineer - Site location: Plymouth, Devon - Responsible to: Office Director - Purpose of the role: To support the leadership and growth of the Electrical Engineering team while delivering high-quality electrical building services design across a diverse project portfolio.
Client brief: Our client is an established engineering consultancy with a strong project pipeline across education, healthcare, residential and mixed-use developments. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide leadership, technical expertise and support the continued growth of the Plymouth office.

RESPONSIBILITIES The role
Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects - Support the Office Director in managing the Electrical Engineering team - Oversee electrical design across sectors including education, healthcare and residential developments - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers - Manage project budgets, programmes and resource allocation - Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders - Support the winning of new work and business development activities
Key Skills Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering - Extensive experience in electrical building services design - Strong leadership and project management capabilities - Excellent communication and client management skills - Chartered Engineer status desirable
