About the Role
 
Are you a practical, boots-on-the-ground leader who thrives in the field? We're looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their crew to get the job done.

This is not a desk job - you'll lead by example, staying hands-on to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise and lead a team of civil construction workers, including operators, labourers, and subcontractors
• Plan, organise, and schedule work activities to meet project timelines
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
• Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and budget
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar supervisory role in construction
• Hands-on leadership - comfortable supervising while working in the field
• Strong knowledge of civil works (earthworks, subdivisions, drainage, road construction)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
• Flexibility to work on multiple sites and adapt to changing project needs
• White Card and current Driver's License (MR/HR advantageous)
