Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is seeking experienced Electricians for an immediate start on a major CHPP construction project in Collinsville, QLD. The project is ramping up quickly and the client is looking to mobilise multiple personnel immediately.
  
The scope of works will involve cable tray installation and cable pulling on a large-scale coal handling plant construction project.
  
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) To be considered for this role, applicants must hold both of the following prior to application:

• Current Standard 11
•  Valid Coal Board Medical

Applications cannot be progressed without both of the above.
  
Project Details

• Location: Collinsville, QLD
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Through late April / May (potential for extensions)
• FIFO from Brisbane (via Mackay) or DIDO from surrounding areas
• Bus transport provided from Mackay for DIDO personnel
• Camp accommodation provided

  
Roster & Hours

• 2 weeks on / 1 week off
• Day shift only
• Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 5:00pm (11 hours paid)
• Weekends: 11 hours paid, early finish at 4:30pm
• Demobilisation days paid at 8 hours (FIFO & DIDO)

  
Pay Rates

• Casual Rate: $62.54/hr
• Overtime 1.5x: $75.05/hr
• Double Time: $100.07/hr

Penalties are calculated off the base rate (not the casual rate).
  
Allowances

• Trade Allowance: $2/hr (capped at 40 hours per week)
• Site Allowance: $2/hr
• Interstate Allowance: $2/hr

• Full Australian working rights 
• Glencore Generic inductions advantageous but not essential
