One of ETA's clients are currently looking for skilled Electricians for multiple roles and projects across Australia. With several projects ramping up, we are looking to mobilise experienced personnel for immediate and upcoming starts.
Duties may include cable tray installation, cable pulling, electrical construction, underground maintenance, and specialised mining equipment support, working alongside experienced teams on major mining and infrastructure sites.
We are also interested in hearing from electricians who specialise in mobile plant infrastructure, wash plant maintenance, and dragline/shovel technicians.

• Project running through late June
• Pay: Casual $62.54/hr, Overtime $75.05/hr, Double Time $100.07/hr
• Allowances: Trade $2/hr, Site $2/hr, Interstate $2/hr
Underground Maintenance – Ernest Henry, QLD
• FIFO Brisbane, Townsville and Carins
- UG electrical maintenance roles with ongoing scopes
• Pay: Starting from $73+/hr depending on experience
Specialised Underground Works – Ernest Henry, QLD - FIFO Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns
- Electrical support for raisebore and specialised underground operations
- Short-term project opportunities
• Pay: Mid–high $70s/hr depending on experience
Underground Maintenance – Carrapateena, SA
• UG electrical maintenance role
• 7:7 roster
• FIFO from major Australian airports
• Pay: $72+/hr depending on experience
E&I Technicians – Turnaround Project, QLD
• Support high-risk operational environment during turnaround
• Bus-in / Bus-out from Brisbane
• Project Dates: 11 May – 3 June 2026
• Pre-mobilisation / Inductions: 11–14 May 2026
• 12.5–13 hour days, camp accommodation with wet mess provided
• Pay: $80/hr casual rate (all-inclusive)
What is needed to be considered?
Requirements may vary depending on project, however candidates with the following will be highly regarded:
- Australian Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• LVR / CPR
• First Aid
• Standard 11 (required for some coal projects)
• Current Coal Board Medical (required for some coal projects)
• Previous mining, construction, or industrial electrical experience
• Underground or raisebore experience advantageous for specialised roles
• Full Australian working rights
