We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support mobile plant maintenance activities across a major WA gold operation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced maintenance environment and can confidently coordinate people, parts, schedules and priorities to keep a heavy equipment fleet running at peak performance.

The Role:

You will work closely with maintenance supervisors, planners and trades teams to ensure all maintenance tasks—scheduled, preventative and breakdown—are coordinated efficiently. The position requires strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to keep things moving across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities for mobile plant equipment
• Manage work orders, prioritise tasks and support maintenance scheduling
• Liaise with supervisors, planners and contractors to organise labour, tooling and parts
• Support breakdown coordination and ensure quick, safe response to urgent issues
• Track progress of maintenance tasks and ensure accurate documentation in the CMMS
• Monitor equipment condition reports and assist with planning future maintenance
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance across all work activities

Requirements:

• Experience in a Maintenance Coordinator / Maintenance Planner /Leading Hand role
• Strong knowledge of mobile plant equipment (loaders, trucks, ITs, LV, ancillary gear etc.)
• Ability to interpret maintenance schedules and work order systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence + able to pass medical & DAS
• Mining or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
