We’re partnering with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering high-quality projects across education, community infrastructure, sports facilities and government sectors. With a strong pipeline rolling into 2026, they are expanding their team and seeking a driven Project Engineer to support the delivery of a new commercial facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate into Senior Project Engineer or Project Management pathways within a fast-growing, well-respected business.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you’ll contribute to the full life cycle of a commercial build — from technical coordination through to site delivery and close-out. You’ll work closely with the PM, Site Manager, consultants and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate subcontractors and assist with daily site operations
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs and technical documentation
• Support project planning, scheduling and program tracking
• Manage procurement, cost control, variations and reporting
• Oversee QA processes, ITPs, commissioning and defect management
• Liaise with architects, engineers and client representatives
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and project delivery

About You

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and bring a strong technical mindset coupled with excellent communication skills.

We’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer on commercial projects
• Strong understanding of building services, structural coordination and construction methodology
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage subcontractor performance
• Problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
• A proactive, professional and team-focused approach
