Miz Tutti is an Italian restaurant in Mortlake serving a menu of pasta, pizza, starters and seasonal dishes. We are looking for a Cook who can prepare quality meals consistently and contribute to a well-organised kitchen service.
The right applicant will be responsible for:

• Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with Miz Tutti’s recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before each service.
• Cook pasta, sauces, starters, sides and other menu items as required.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures and portion sizes to maintain consistency.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Assist with receiving and storing ingredients and monitoring stock levels.
• Keep workstations, equipment and food preparation areas clean and organised.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and closing duties.

About you:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook;
• Experience preparing Italian cuisine would be highly regarded;
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods;
• Good knowledge of food handling and kitchen hygiene practices;
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year
