Dandelion Vineyards is a South Australian wine producer offering a range of wines from the state's wine-growing regions. The company also operates the Wonder Room in McLaren Vale, where visitors can enjoy wine tastings.
Dandelion Vineyards is currently seeking a Winery Worker for a permanent full-time position in McLaren Vale, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking practical winery duties, supporting wine production activities, maintaining winery equipment and ensuring that work is performed in accordance with established quality, hygiene and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking general winery and cellar operations associated with wine production.
• Preparing, operating and cleaning winery equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Supporting grape processing activities during production periods.
• Carrying out wine transfers and handling winery materials as directed.
• Monitoring winery equipment and reporting operational issues to supervisors.
• Cleaning and sanitising tanks, hoses, tools and work areas.
• Supporting wine production, bottling and packaging activities when required.
• Maintaining appropriate storage and handling practices for winery materials.
• Recording relevant production activities as required.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and winery hygiene standards.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in winery operations or a similar production environment.
• Practical understanding of winery equipment and cellar procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and established production processes.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a winery environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace hygiene and safety.

Salary: AUD $65,000 – $85,000 per annum
