Our client is looking for a Licensing Specialist to join their team in Dubai. This role involves managing business registration, licensing, and renewal processes, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and liaising with government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Licensing Manager with new inquiries by researching the feasibility of establishing or restructuring entities, including structuring options, setup criteria, timelines, and government fees.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of company formation and restructuring across onshore, offshore, free zones, and financial zones.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UAE government departments and agencies.
• Utilize UAE government portals and online systems to streamline licensing processes, minimizing the need for in-person visits.
• Work closely with the leadership team to onboard new clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Manage all aspects of business registration and licensing, including renewals.
• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare, collate, and reconcile invoices and expenses related to licensing matters.
• Develop internal and external licensing policies, procedures, and client resources.
• Stay updated on UAE laws, regulations, and procedures related to business licensing and ensure full compliance.
• Continuously review processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Attend client and law firm meetings as required.
• Support other business functions as needed, including labor and immigration matters.
• Identify and propose new revenue opportunities by offering corporate services such as translation, attestation, commercial premises solutions, and license amendments. (All opportunities must be reviewed by the leadership team before proposals are issued.)
• Uphold the company's values and operate in alignment with the company’s code of conduct.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience, preferably in the legal or corporate services sector.
• A dedicated, results-driven professional with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.
• Proven track record in customer service and strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, precise advisory content for clients and stakeholders.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in relevant IT tools and systems for efficient task management.
