Enterprise Architect (Contract) - Manufacturing / ERP / Engineering

Contract role | Complex environment | Immediate start | Extension possible

We're looking for a hands-on Enterprise Architect to join a major organisation within a manufacturing / engineering-led environment, supporting a range of technology and ERP-driven initiatives.

This is a contract role suited to someone who's comfortable operating in complex, legacy-heavy landscapes, able to assess technical debt, provide pragmatic architecture direction, and help move programs forward with clear structure and governance.
What's the role?

You'll work across business and technology stakeholders to:

• Assess current-state enterprise and solution architecture across key platforms
• Support ERP-driven change (and surrounding ecosystem)
• Identify and prioritise technical debt, gaps and architectural risks
• Define practical uplift recommendations and future-state direction
• Bring structure to architecture principles, standards and decision making
• Help unblock delivery teams and keep transformation moving forward

What you'll bring

• Strong background as an Enterprise Architect (contract preferred)
• Engineering / manufacturing industry exposure highly desirable
• ERP experience (SAP / Oracle / Infor / Dynamics etc.)
• Proven ability working in large complex, multi-system environments
• Strong stakeholder management, able to influence delivery + exec groups
• Pragmatic mindset: able to deal with legacy/technical debt and drive forward progress
