Role Summary
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating supply chain activities, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Your role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and minimizing costs throughout the supply chain
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all supply chain activities, including procurement, production, and distribution.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover to minimize holding costs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and delivery times.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or disruptions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and supplier contracts.
- Train and supervise supply chain staff to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and initiatives.

- Driving consensus between forecast and supply
- Making sure forecast is being met by product availability
- Timely reporting and align on any supply gaps
- Managing timely customer deliveries (OTIF)
- Managing COGS to have better margin and contribution

- Assisting with budgeting process
- Provide timely feedback on any deviation in terms of costing which can impact business performance

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control principles, and logistics operations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
