Strategic Sourcing Leader

A well-established industrial manufacturing company in Houston is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Leader to take ownership of sourcing strategy, supplier performance, cost management, and a small buyer team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically, negotiate with suppliers, work closely with operations, and take ownership of key procurement KPIs.

What You’ll Do

• Own Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and cost-performance targets
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
• Negotiate supplier contracts and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs)
• Manage supplier performance, quality, delivery, and risk
• Lead CAPEX and tooling planning and project timelines
• Coach and develop buyers
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance
• Support the S&OP process and supply forecasting

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of sourcing/procurement experience
• Manufacturing environment experience
• 1–3 years of team leadership experience
• Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience managing procurement KPIs such as PPV or cost savings
• ERP/MRP and Excel experience
• CAPEX/tooling experience preferred
• Electronics, electro-mechanical, PCB, or similar industrial sourcing experience is a plus

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site
Salary: $120,000
Travel: Less than 25%
