What’s the Brief?
We’re partnering with one of Australia’s largest agricultural investors to find an HR Business Partner for their recently acquired farm. The organisation has experienced consistent growth, driven by the acquisition of agricultural portfolios across Australia, offering exciting exposure to M&A and corporate projects.
With the HR function undergoing a period of transformation, this is a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role in elevating and refining the function.

Reporting to the GM of People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in both the day-to-day operations and the broader strategic direction of the business.
Your client group will span the orchard farms, including Regional Heads, Farm Managers and a new COO. You’ll be building strong relationships across all walks of life - no egos, no red tape. Just real conversations, practical support, and a chance to lift the function in a way that makes a visible difference.

Your Impact
• Partnering with key stakeholders on the full employee lifecycle, including grievances, performance improvement, succession planning & termination.
• Continually monitoring and implementing changes to business policies and practices to reflect changes in IR legislation.
• Providing clear communication, guidance and coaching when required to People Leaders and employees to ensure business objectives are met.
• Providing HR training and coaching to People Leaders to ensure understanding and application of legislation and company policies.
• Leading and providing guidance to the Hiring Manager for all recruitment activities within your portfolio, including labour hire and seasonal workers.
• Evaluating the performance of the Seasonal Workers Program and Service Providers for all recruitment activities.
• On an ad hoc basis, managing the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Your Toolkit
You have strong experience in Business Partnering within blue-collar environments, and know how to build trust across all levels.
You’re comfortable being hands-on, supporting both the farm managers and corporate leaders, while flexing your communication style to suit different needs.
You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, balancing resilience with a no-nonsense, approachable style. You’re a team player through and through, and you’re at your best when you’re visible, approachable and part of the action.
