An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a high-performing People & Culture team in a well-regarded education setting. This role plays a central part in delivering day-to-day HR operations, supporting strategy execution, and helping lead an established HR function across a large and diverse workforce. The successful candidate will be the key link between the Executive and the HR Advisor, providing leadership across generalist HR, ER/IR matters, and compliance. You will work alongside a capable and supportive team across recruitment, learning and development, WHS, and risk.

As the college continues to evolve, the HR Manager will play a key role in maintaining high-quality day-to-day HR delivery while enabling the Executive to focus on broader strategy, risk, and organisational initiatives.
Your Role in Action
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee lifecycle, ER/IR, and policy compliance
Lead performance and conduct management processes, job design, and culture initiatives
Interpret awards (Education Services and General Staff/Teachers) and support bargaining activity
Ensure onboarding, induction, and staff support from day one
Contribute to leadership, retention, and attraction projects across the college
Support the operational delivery of People & Culture alongside a lead and advisor in Talent & Recruitment
Your Toolkit
Proven capability in HR management with strength in ER/IR and operational delivery
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment (5 days on site)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate between executive and advisor levels
Confident yet low-ego approach, able to adapt to an established structure and team culture
Able to step into a ready-built function and add value without needing to build from scratch
