At Samuels Donegan, we partner with organisations that see HR as more than a function - it’s a strategic enabler of performance, culture and transformation. This role sits firmly at that intersection.
We’re representing a purpose-led, banking and financial services organisation with a clear commitment to bringing its People Strategy to life. With a values-driven culture and a focus on enabling people to thrive and grow, our client is investing in strong operational foundations, meaningful employee experiences and contemporary people practices.
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role within the People & Culture Team, partnering closely with the business to deliver end-to-end people outcomes. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the people lifecycle, including governance frameworks, people systems and processes, recruitment, remuneration and benefits, WHS and all cyclical people activities.
You’ll mentor and uplift the People Experience team while working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure a seamless, compliant and human-centred people experience.
What you’ll do
- Bring the People Strategy to life by contributing to and delivering people programs aligned to the organisation’s purpose and strategic objectives.
- Mentor and coach the Talent Advisor and People Experience Coordinator, building capability and enabling them to act as trusted advisors to leaders.
- Oversee the end-to-end people lifecycle, including policies, standards, processes and system optimisation.
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of recruitment, remuneration and benefits, and WHS frameworks, with strong exposure to remuneration cycles end-to-end, including analysis, modelling and governance.
- Lead the project management of cyclical people activities, including performance and remuneration reviews, engagement and talent processes, in partnership with People Partners.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the organisation’s pulse engagement survey, from design and deployment through to analysis and insight translation (experience with Qualtrics helpful but not essential).
- Maintain and continuously improve the people data framework, including governance, HR metrics, reporting and insights, with a high level of comfort working in Excel and people data.
- Partner with the risk function to oversee people-related risks, controls and reporting.
- Manage key People Experience vendor relationships, including EAP, HRIS and related providers.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Technology, Facilities and Finance to deliver an integrated and seamless people experience.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, bringing a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset and balancing strategic intent with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
