What’s the Brief?

We’re partnering with one of Australia’s largest agricultural investment groups, currently experiencing strong and sustained growth through strategic acquisitions nationwide.

This is a high-impact payroll project role, supporting the final phase of a Payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) system integration. You’ll play a critical role in stabilisation, close-out and transition to business-as-usual (BAU), ensuring systems, controls and integrations are fully validated and fit for purpose.

Alongside project work, you’ll provide targeted, hands-on payroll support to ensure a smooth, compliant go-live and ongoing stability.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead final validation and close-out of Payroll and T&A system configuration
• Validate award interpretation, pay rules, accruals and end-to-end integrations
• Identify, manage and resolve system defects and configuration issues
• Partner with vendors, implementation partners and internal stakeholders through cutover and stabilisation
• Perform payroll data validation, reconciliations and control checks (GL, costing, super, statutory reporting)
• Provide hands-on payroll support during testing, parallel runs and post-go-live stabilisation
• Support documentation, knowledge transfer and transition to BAU operations

What You Bring to the Table

• Strong experience supporting payroll and T&A system implementations or post-go-live stabilisation
• Solid understanding of payroll processing in complex, award-based environments
• Demonstrated experience with system validation, reconciliations and controls
• iChris Required & UKG (Kronos) experience highly regarded
• Comfortable remaining hands-on with payroll processing alongside project work
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capability
• Pragmatic, calm communication style with a strong sense of ownership
• Adaptable and comfortable working in evolving environments
