Right now, they are focused on consolidating systems, upgrading their tech stack and creating a more streamlined and compliant payroll function. To support this journey, they are looking for a capable, calm and collaborative Payroll Officer who can make an immediate impact.
Who are you?
You are an experienced payroll professional who thrives on structure, accuracy and problem-solving, especially in environments where things are moving quickly. You bring at least three years of end-to-end payroll experience, have a solid understanding of award interpretation, and are comfortable navigating manual processes and change. Also - you have ideally have used Micropay, Sage or NetSuite before!
Day to day
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting payroll continuity through a major transformation. Your day to day will include:
End-to-end payroll processing
Managing one enterprise agreement and several modern awards
Supporting the implementation of UKG and pay cycle consolidation
Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
Working with manual processes (no T&A system currently in place)
Collaborating with a small, experienced payroll team
Contributing to process improvements and system migration
What's in your toolkit?
At least three years of payroll experience
Experience with Micropay, Sage or NetSuite is a bonus!
High attention to detail and a process improvement mindset
Calm, proactive and adaptable
Able to communicate constructively and push back when needed.
