Our client is a well-established public practice firm with two offices across Melbourne. They seek an additional, suitably experienced Bookkeeper to join their existing bookkeeping team. This position will add value to their existing client portfolio by providing bookkeeping services. About the Role:
- Preparation of BAS, including GST reconciliations;
- Strong working knowledge of Payroll, including STP, Superannuation, Workcover and Payroll tax;
- Advanced working knowledge of multiple accounting software - Xero, MYOB, Reckon, Quickbooks, Cashflow Manager etc;
- Work closely with our clients and provide software training where required
- Assist accountants in accounts preparation
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Certificate IV in bookkeeping
- At least 3 years working in an accounting or bookkeeping firm
- Tech-savvy and passionate about working with Xero and its ecosystem
- Well presented, professional, and flexible in your approach to hours and client meetings
- Possess excellent communication and organisation skills
- Genuine passion for small businesses
What's on Offer:
- $70,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation
