Experienced Station Hand WANTED at King Island, Tasmania.
We’re looking for a capable and experienced Senior Station Hand to join a well-established grass-fed beef cattle operation on King Island, Tasmania.
This is a permanent position suited to someone who already has solid skills in cattle work and property maintenance, and is ready to settle into life in this rewarding and progressive environment.
About the Role
This is hands-on station work, where you’ll be involved in:
• Mustering with quad bikes
• All aspects of yard work and animal husbandry
• Supporting herd management across breeders, progeny and bulls
• Maintaining fences, water, and general station infrastructure
• Working as part of a positive and productive team while also managing tasks independently
What We’re Looking For
• Proven background in the Australian beef industry, ideally at Senior Station Hand level
• Confidence and skill in both mustering and yard work
• Strong practical ability across fencing, repairs, and general property maintenance
• Someone committed to a long-term role and contributing to both the workplace and local community
