About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager to join our DBG Technology team based in Richmond on a
12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will lead the delivery of strategically important enterprise technology projects, with an immediate focus on the implementation of a new enterprise data platform and the migration to Microsoft Fabric.
This is a hands-on role suited to a seasoned project professional who thrives in complex environments, can confidently navigate competing priorities, and excels at bringing together diverse stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating activities across internal teams, external delivery partners, and business stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with business objectives.
Role & Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects, including project initiation, planning, governance, risk management, change management, and project closure.
- Manage the implementation of a new enterprise data platform, including complex data migration activities and the delivery of new business functionality.
- Develop and maintain consolidated project schedules, ensuring dependencies across multiple workstreams, vendors, and business teams are effectively managed.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, project sponsors, technology teams, and external partners to drive engagement, alignment, and successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate activities across internal and external delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the DBG Project Management Framework, tools, standards, and project management community.
Skills & Experience - Proven experience leading large-scale technology projects, with 5+ years' project management experience across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise data platform, data migration, or master data management projects.
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data platform modernisation initiatives, including Synapse to Fabric migrations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage audiences ranging from technical teams through to senior executives.
- Experience managing complex project dependencies, cross-functional workstreams, third-party vendors, and business change activities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Technology, or a related discipline. Project Management certifications (PMI, PMBOK, SAFe or similar) will be highly regarded.
