About the Role
DBG Health is seeking a Demand Planner to join our Beauty Supply Chain team. This role is critical in supporting the demand planning process across our beauty portfolio, ensuring robust forecasts are maintained to optimise inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and minimise stock risks.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term demand forecasts, analysing trends and market insights, and supporting continuous improvements to planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasts to support inventory optimisation and service level targets.
- Analyse sales trends, historical data, product performance and market insights to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts and support the monthly S&OP process.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, recommend corrective actions and communicate changes to key stakeholders.
- Support new product launches and promotional activity by incorporating demand assumptions into forecast plans.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, reporting, data quality and forecasting tools.
Skills & Experience - 3+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain Planning, ideally within FMCG, Beauty or Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, NetSuite and forecasting/planning systems is advantageous.
- Proven stakeholder management capability, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
