About The Role
The Senior Purchasing Analyst is a key member of the DBG Health Beauty Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process across a designated brand portfolio, category, or supplier base, including globally sourced products for leading beauty brands such as MCoBeauty.
Working with both local and international manufacturers, you'll support the procurement of finished goods, components, and packaging across cosmetics, beauty, health, and wellness. This role plays a critical part in ensuring supply continuity, maintaining accurate master data, monitoring supplier performance, managing supply risks, and driving continuous improvement across purchasing processes and systems. As a senior member of the team, you will provide expertise and insights to support purchasing best practices and optimise global supply chain outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle in the ERP system, from PO creation through to goods receipt, across local and international suppliers.
- Coordinate with global manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of finished goods, components, and packaging, proactively resolving issues relating to payments, production, materials, and logistics.
- Monitor purchase order status, inventory positions, and supplier performance, identifying and escalating supply risks, delays, or delivery issues to key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing processes, reporting, SOPs, and system functionality to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Maintain accurate supplier and master data, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, sourcing information, and supplier records.
- Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to support supply continuity, new product launches, and business growth initiatives.
Skills & Experience - 5+ years' experience in purchasing, replenishment, procurement, or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, consumer goods, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, global supply chain operations, inventory management, and supplier relationship management, with ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing international suppliers and placing purchase orders across global sourcing markets; experience supporting high-volume consumer brands is highly regarded.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office Suite, with strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a structured, process-driven approach.
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.
- Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline are highly regarded. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly regarded, with Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean language skills advantageous.
