About the Role
 
The Purchasing Manager leads the end‑to‑end purchase order process across all DBG Health's beauty portfolio, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and supplier performance. Managing a team of Purchasing Analysts, this role drives continuous improvement, oversees supplier compliance, and maintains high‑quality master data to support operational excellence across cosmetics, beauty, health, and wellness categories.

Role & Responsibilities 

• Lead and optimise the end‑to‑end purchase order lifecycle, ensuring timely creation, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, reporting, and system utilisation (including ERP).
• Oversee supplier performance reporting and collaborate with Procurement, Category Management and Quality to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate master data including lead times, pricing, production minimums and supplier details.
• Coach, mentor and develop a team of Purchasing Analysts, fostering capability growth and performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and WHS requirements across all operational activities.

Skills & Experience 

• 5-7 years' experience in purchasing, replenishment or planning (ideally within FMCG, manufacturing)
• 1-3 years experience in a managerial role
• Advanced proficiency in NetSuite/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain operations, inventory control and ERP‑driven purchasing processes.
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing small teams.
• High attention to detail with a systematic, process‑driven approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders.
