Brake Press Operator | 2nd Shift | Monday to Friday
Program, set up, and run a hydraulic brake press on a steady Monday to Friday 2nd shift, where your blueprint skills drive every part.
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with weekend overtime only if you want it.
Pay Rate: $20.65/hr
A skilled role where you program the machine yourself, straight from the blueprint.
A team that puts safety, quality, and accuracy first.
Know your way around a brake press and want a role that uses everything you know? This position puts you in charge of the whole process, from reading the blueprint and building the bend program to setting up tooling and inspecting the first part off the machine. And with a consistent Monday to Friday 2nd shift, your weekends stay yours unless you choose to pick up extra hours.
You’ll enter programs directly into the machine based on blueprint specifications, calculate bend deductions, angles, and offsets, and select and align the right punches and dies for each job. Then you’ll verify your work with first-off and in-process inspections so every part meets spec.
This is precision work for someone who takes pride in getting it right the first time. Your attention to detail and your care for the equipment keep production moving safely and on time.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Plenty of operator roles have you running programs someone else wrote. Here, you build the bending programs yourself using blueprint details, bend deductions, and required angles or offsets, so your technical skill is put to real use every shift. You own setup, programming, inspection, and basic maintenance, which means more responsibility and more chances to show what you can do. With voluntary weekend overtime, you also decide how much extra you want to earn.
