Start a new career in cannabis production. Full training, $20/hr, health and dental, and weekends off.
What if your next job came with training, benefits, and a way into one of Canada's fastest-evolving industries, without needing any experience to get started?
We are hiring Production Labourers for the afternoon shift with a large, vertically integrated licensed cannabis producer. You will be part of the team that packages, weighs, and labels product before it heads out the door, and you will learn every step from people who want you to succeed.
If you are a quick learner who likes staying active, takes pride in getting the details right, and enjoys being part of a team, this is a real opportunity to build skills that can grow into a long-term career.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most entry-level production jobs expect you to figure things out on your own. This one comes with full on-the-job training, so you can walk in with zero experience and build real, transferable skills in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will join a friendly, supportive team that welcomes people from all backgrounds and values what each person contributes. The schedule is predictable, Monday to Friday, so you can plan your life around it. Health and dental benefits are included, which is not something every entry-level role offers. And because the work is hands-on and active, your shift keeps moving instead of dragging.
What You'll Be Doing
Getting product packaged accurately and ready to ship in a manufacturing and warehouse setting.
Weighing product carefully so every package meets the right amount.
Labelling product correctly so it is traceable and compliant.
Completing batch records and documentation that keep production accurate.
Keeping your workstation clean and safe for you and your team.
What We're Looking For
No previous experience or education is required.
A quick learner who is eager to be trained and pick up new tasks.
Comfort standing and walking throughout your shift and lifting up to 40 lbs.
A detail-oriented approach and care for doing tasks accurately.
A team player who is willing to pitch in and support others to meet shared goals.
Must be at least 19 years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must pass a background check.
Must have WHMIS training prior to your start date.
For safety and product standards, no acrylic nails, rings, or jewelry are permitted on shift, and any piercings that cannot be removed must be taped.
Compensation & Work Model
$20.00 per hour.
Health and dental benefits.
Onsite.
Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Location & Travel
Onsite at the employer's production facility. Location details will be confirmed during the screening process. No travel required.
