HAYLO People have partnered exclusively with PIEF in the search for their Director (General Manager), Strategy & Partnerships. The PIEF Director (General Manager), Strategy & Partnerships role reports into the PIEF CEO and is an integral partner in driving external strategy, strategic partnerships and innovation agenda within PIEF. This role is key in positioning PIEF as a broader representative body across not only Personal Injury but Disability; bridging the gap between Personal Injury and Disability.
The Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) is committed to delivering leading education and training programs, events, and initiatives for people working in the personal injury and disability management industries in Australia and Internationally. PIEF is owned by its members and is governed by a Board of Directors. As a not-for-profit member-based organisation and registered training organisation, PIEF works towards improving the professionalism and capability of the personal injury and disability management industries.
The Role: Reporting directing to the CEO, the Director (General Manager), Strategy & Partnerships leads the activation of PIEF’s external strategy, partnerships, and innovation agenda. The high impact role will ensure;
- The CEO and Board are supported in progressing PIEF’s strategic aspiration to become the peak industry body.
- Systemic change is driven through collaborative leadership, shared frameworks, and cross-sector engagement.
- Strategic opportunities are translated into implementable programs with measurable impact.
- Internal teams are aligned, enabled, and proud contributors to high-value national work.
- PIEF is commercially and strategically positioned to sustain itself into the future, with scalable products and enduring partnerships.
About You: - To be successful in this role, you will have deep experience in governance, organisational leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Extensive experience in business development in an education and training sector.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale change, projects, and partnerships.
- Exceptional communication (interpersonal, group, presentation, written), including demonstrated ability to influence in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise in a dynamic, ambiguous and complex environment.
- Strong Commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in the VET sector.
