The role

• Design and implement machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges using large and varied datasets.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven strategies and actionable insights.
• Help shape a high-performing analytics function that supports operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and automation processes to enhance data quality, access, and usability.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated analytics and machine learning solutions from concept to deployment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to your team, contributing to growth and capability uplift.
• Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement in the application of data science and AI.

About you

• Strong leadership experience in data science or analytics, delivering real business impact
• Background in a technical or quantitative field (e.g. STEM)
• Skilled in Python, SQL, and building ML models with large datasets
• Comfortable working in cloud-based data environments
• Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex ideas
• Commercially minded, with a focus on practical outcomes
• Bonus: experience in consulting, data pipelines, or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI or Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics data)
