The role: 

• Lead the development and implementation of data science solutions using statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualisation to drive business insights and performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-led strategies
• Extract trends and uncover opportunities from large, complex datasets to support strategic decision-making
• Design, deploy, and optimise machine learning models in a modern cloud-based environment
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, driving practical business outcomes

About You

• High proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong commercial acumen, able to translate business problems into data solutions
• Hands-on experience with large datasets and enterprise-grade ML models
• Confident communicator, particularly in client-facing or cross-functional stakeholder settings
• Proven experience working in cloud-based environments, ideally GCP (BigQuery/BigQueryML)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style environment and contributing to delivery as well as strategy
