The role
The Analytics Engineer transforms raw data into usable insights by building end-to-end data solutions: sourcing, shaping, and enabling analysis.

• Build, optimise, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to design end-to-end data solutions
• Develop and manage ELT/ETL processes across structured and unstructured data sources
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility across cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Automate workflows and support data infrastructure that enables business intelligence
• Work with tools like dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar
• Contribute to best practices in data engineering, documentation, and performance optimisation

About you

• Experience in data or analytics engineering roles
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience working on large-scale data systems
• Strong understanding of modern data warehousing and ELT/ETL frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and tools like dbt or Airflow
• Comfortable working with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data quality, documentation, and process improvement
