Haylo People is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the Personal Injury and Insurance industry. We are exclusively partnered with a Specialist Insurer to join their commercial liability team.

We’re partnering with a highly regarded firm that’s expanding their insurance team and looking for a dynamic Associate to join their Melbourne CBD office.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with genuine progression potential, exposure to high-quality public liability matters, and direct mentoring from senior practitioners.
  
The Role:

• Managing and assisting on a range of public liability and general insurance matters (both litigated and unlitigated)
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal advice
• Engaging with clients, counsel, experts, and other key stakeholders
• Supporting business development activities and client relationship management
• Attending court and briefing counsel where required

  
Your Background:

• Admitted solicitor in Australia with 2+ years’ PQE
• Exposure to insurance litigation – particularly public liability or personal injury
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude
• Tech-savvy, with an interest in legal innovation and AI tools
• Able to manage files with attention to detail and commercial awareness
