This is a full time permanent role with the opportunity to work from either Melbourne, Sydney or Newcastle based on your location. This role has a strong emphasis on both new business acquisition and portfolio management, delivering client-focused solutions to the personal injury industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify and capture new business opportunities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and lead commercial negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Client Relationship Management: Own and manage a portfolio of key clients, ensuring high retention rates and driving in-client growth through upselling, cross-selling, and service expansion.
- Commercial Performance & Portfolio Optimisation: Monitor service delivery and contract renewals, working closely with internal teams to ensure optimal performance and portfolio margin growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small team, providing day-to-day oversight, mentorship, and support to ensure team goals are aligned with business objectives.
Key Requirements: - Extensive experience in a business development, account management, or commercial leadership role, ideally in rehabilitation, insurance, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios, negotiating contracts, and driving business growth.
- Proven leadership experience, with a strong focus on team development and achieving business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Clinical or allied health qualifications (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy) with exposure to commercial or product-related roles are highly desirable but not essential.
