We are currently looking for a skilled Risk and Compliance Officer to join a leading insurance broking organisation based in NSW. The Role:

• Develop, implement, and maintain risk and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
• Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures in response to changes in laws and business practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company’s practices remain compliant.
• Conduct internal reviews and risk assessments to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
• Provide compliance training and support to promote a culture of ethical behaviour across the organisation.
• Investigate compliance incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future breaches.

About You:

• Proven experience in developing and managing risk and compliance programmes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and industry standards.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communicator with experience in delivering compliance training.
• A proactive problem-solver with a track record of investigating and resolving compliance issues.
